Living in the Washington, DC metro area, Marissa Louann started making cakes when she found herself needing a creative and artistic challenge.  Between performing various baking experiments and design challenges, she fell in love with the craft and continued to hone her skills.  She continues to be enchanted by the challenge of new designs and flavor concepts and the added bonus of seeing pure delight on customers faces upon delivery of their special cake. While she enjoys making cakes for all occasions, she has thoroughly enjoyed her experiences in making wedding cakes and complete custom cakes that reflect her customers personalities and interests.
